Sinjar Cement Plant

 
Sinjar Cement Plant Is located (12) km southwest of Mousl city on the main road of Mousl-Sinjar. The Plant works on the dry method that rely on preheating and calcination. 

The Plant was Established in 1986 by the Romanian UZINE EXPORT Company, and the production started in 1998 with two production lines (the design capacity of each line 3,200 tons/day = 2,000,000 tons/year. 

The number of staff working in the plant is about 774 people

The Plant produces the following types of cement:

• Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)
• SRC Cement
• CEM II
